About Us
Durga Wood Decor
Since 1992, Durga Wood Decor has crafted solid teak furniture, mandirs, murties and architectural woodwork from our workshop at New Timber Market, Bhawani Peth, Pune. Our karigars carve floral scrollwork, jali and deity figures by hand and finish every piece in natural teak grain or custom stains.
This store carries the pieces we can pack and ship across India — murties, carved and glass frames, mirrors, center tables, chairs, swings and compact mandirs. Doors, palkis, beds, sofas and full-size mandirs are made to order; see our main site or write to us on WhatsApp.
How we work
- 100% solid teak, seasoned before carving, with brass fittings where needed.
- Hand finishing — natural matte, gloss lacquer, or stains such as dark walnut and mahogany on request.
- Crated packing for safe transit and pan-India delivery by courier or surface freight.
- Customisation — most pieces can be made in a different size or finish.
